The Eternal Move of God: The Anointing in Us

The Eternal Move of God: The Anointing in Usfeatured

Hello, friends and neighbors of the Rio Grande Valley.  Praise the Lord that we have a God who is not static but always moving.

Since the eternal past, God has always been Triune, but He was alone.  God, being almighty, powerful, and creative, spoke forth the universe into existence, time, and space. God’s move is immediately evident as soon as we read the bible:  Chapter one of Genesis describes God’s Spirit brooding or hovering over the waters.

God spoke into existence all the atoms, and then many of them fused to form more complex molecules.  When you think about it,  it is incredible that He holds the entire universe together by His powerful word (Hebrews 1:3).  Not only does He hold together the trillions of stars, but all the atoms (the number is estimated to be approximately 10^80, which is a number so vast that no human mind can even begin to fathom.   This is the God we worship, love, and contain in our human spirit.

Seasons come and go, and empires rise and fall through the ages.  Things are constantly changing.  The wind sometimes blows in a specific direction and sometimes in a different direction; we cannot tell where it is going or where it comes from (John 3:8).   May the Spirit of the Lord move in all His children as He pleases.

Even us humans come and go.  Today, for example, I received news that two of my patients (elderly and with different medical conditions) had passed away over the weekend.  May God bless them and keep their souls in His presence.

Praise the Lord that our Lord and Savior is always fresh.   He is the fountain of Life!   God placed a desire in us to express Himself through us, and we are anointed by our being His children.  When we are anointed with His Spirit and allow Him to move through us, we are strengthened and empowered.  It is at this time when He can use us.

Acts 1:8:  But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you shall be My witnesses … unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

God is always full of purpose, longing to accomplish something new.  If you are a business owner, in the medical field, a teacher, a therapist, retired, or a young college student, I pray that the Lord may anoint you so that He can use you and be His witness on the earth.

1 Samuel 16 “And Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers, and the Spirit of Jehovah rushed upon David from that day forward. “
